Installing the Small Business Financial Manager in Excel

May 18, 2015 By Stephen L. Nelson Leave a Comment

The Small Business Tools, which include Small Business Financial Manager, that come with the Office 2000 aren’t automatically installed when you install the rest of Office 2000. These extra programs come on Disk 2 of the Office 2000 CD set. You may therefore need to in- stall these tools.

To install the Small Business Tools, insert Disk 2 in your CD-ROM drive and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: The Small Business Tools include four distinct tools: Business Planner, Direct Mail Manager, Small Business Customer Manager (which works with Outlook), and Small Business Financial Manager.

After you install the Small Business Tools, you can start the Small Business Financial Manager directly by clicking the Start button, choosing Programs, choosing Small Business Tools, and then choosing the Small Business Financial Manager. Or, you can start the Small Business Financial Manager by starting Excel and then choosing one of the Financial Manager menu commands.

Note: When you install Small Business Financial Manager, you add the Financial Manager menu of commands to the Excel menu bar.
